The Neon Rainbowfish is generally easy to keep and suited for the beginner to intermediate aquarist. It is an active community fish that enjoys a spacious planted aquarium. They occupy the mid to upper level water column and are best kept in shoals of 6 or more and a ratio of one male to two females. They are a brilliant greenish – blue with crimson red on fins and tails.
