It may also be used for descaling other stainless steel catering equipment such as bain maries, boilers, tea & coffee urns. Features & Benefits · High active phosphoric acid based product. · Safe to use on stainless steel. · Quickly removes limescale & general soiling. · For use in all types of automatic dish & glass washing machines. · Also removes scale from a variety of kitchen equipment. How to Use DISH & GLASSWASHING MACHINES: Switch off dosing pump. Fill machine with clean water. Prepare a 5% solution by pouring DESCALE into machine at a ratio of 2ltr per 40ltr capacity. Leave for 2-3 minutes. Switch on machine & circulate the solution for between 5-10 minutes. Drain the solution & refill with fresh water. Circulate the water for a further 3 minutes and drain. Air dry by leaving the machine door open. Switch on dosing pumps. DESCALING BAIN MARIES, BOILERS, TEA & COFFEE URNS: Dilute 1:25 parts warm water (200ml per 5ltr) 1 cupful per 5ltr. Pour into vessel and allow to soak for 5 minutes. Drain solution, scrub surface with a stiff brush. Rinse thoroughly with clean water. Descale on a regular basis to maintain efficiency of machine and extend the life of the heating element.
