Caesar Creek Colorful Sunset No. 1

The Story:      As the sun lingered above the horizon, I caught its final blaze—rendered as a radiant sunstar through diffraction. On this evening, with shifting clouds overhead, I set out for Caesar Creek State Park, near Waynesville, Ohio, holding out hope for a colorful end to the day. During the drive, the skies began to clear, though doubt lingered as the horizon crept closer. Still, I pressed on, following a wooded trail with no guarantee of a view. In the final moments, golden light began to pierce through the trees. Emerging from the forest, I was greeted by a scene of warm light spilling across the landscape—just in time to capture the sun’s parting brilliance.
